Browse Indices

   
  The Browse Index page contains a list of entries (the index) corresponding to a datafield. Use this page to browse the entries in an index for a chosen datafield.

Getting to the Browse Index Page

This page can be reached from the Field Information page by entering a search string and clicking the button.

Using the Browse Index Page - Options Area

More Values

When there are too many index entries to be displayed on a single page the button can be used to page through the index.

Make Query

To return the entries that are associated with the index value, tick the check box beside it and then click the button. Clicking on the hyperlink for the value has the same effect.

Using the Browse Index Page - Data Area

Values Table

This tells you, not only the value in the index, but the number of entries that are indexed for that value.

Value
This represents the value that is included in the index. Clicking the hyperlink for a value, takes you to the Query Result page.

No of Entries
This is the number of entries that are included in the index with the value indicated.
