SoapLab
Our Web Services have been implemented by using the SoapLab tool, developed by Martin Senger at EBI and now available as open source (see the SoapLab development site at SourceForge and the SoapLab site at EBI).

Access
Our Web Services are made available through a Tomcat/Axis implementation at the following URL: http://bioinformatics.hsanmartino.it:8090/axis/services.
Some of our Web Services are also registered at the bioCatalogue site, where our server is known as the bioinformatics-istge-it Service Provider.
Examples:

We are developing a set of client scripts allowing to call our Web Services both in perl and PHP. They will be announced and published here.

Taverna Workbench
You can make use of our services by means of the Taverna Workbench (for more information and for downloading this open source tool, visit the Taverna SourceForge site).
You can retrieve some workflows leveraging on our Web Services and developed with Taverna at the myExperiment site.
Examples:
Further workflows are under development, and will be presented both at the myExperiment site and here.

Download
We are preparing some packages that will allow for an easy exploitation of our Web Services. From the Download section of this site, you will be able to retrieve:
  • simple client scripts in perl and PHP
  • workflows demonstrating practical access to our Web Services
  • Soaplab definitions for a possible implementation
