Description: mouse lymphoma established by inoculation of the Moloney leukemia virus (MLV) into a newborn A/Sn mouse; cells were described to be sensitive to the cytotoxic activity of natural killer (NK) cells and are therefore often used as target cells in NK assays confirmed as mouse with IEF of AST, MDH, PEP B

90% RPMI 1640 + 10% FBS maintain at 0.3-2.0 x 106 cells/ml; cells grow very fast; split ratio of 1:5 to 1:10; seed out at ca. 5 x 105 cells/ml at 37C with 5% CO2 maximal density of about 3.0 x 106 cells/ml; doubling time of ca. 20 hours; frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 5 x 106 cells/ampoule; contamination was eliminated with Mycoplasma Removal Agent, then negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, RNA hybridization, PCR assays;
