Details of Analysis Tool
This page contains information about the chosen analysis tool. Headings describing the data are listed on the left. Some of the common data headings are described below.
- Name
- This is the name of the package.
- Comment
- This section contains useful comments about the tool, e.g. a short description of how it works, by whom it was developed, etc.
- Groups
- This indicates the group(s) to which the chosen tool belongs.
- Title
- This contains a short description of the type of tool, e.g. sequence similarity search.
- Primary Options
- This area includes options which are required to set up the search, e.g. the name of the current job, where to search, etc.
- Minimum Options
- This area includes the basic minimum options that must be specified to run the tool.
- Required Options
- This area includes options which must be specified for consistency with the Emboss command line.
- Output Options
- This area includes options which control the output of search results.
- Search Parameters
- This area includes options which are specifically used to control the way searches take place.
- Advanced Options
- This section contains options that usually do not need to be altered by the user. Experienced users might wish to alter these to define a particularly specific search.
- Other Options
- This area includes options which have not been described elsewhere, e.g. Path.
