Collection of human somatic cells from patients with hereditary diseases


The Russian Cell Culture Collection (formerly All-Union Cell Culture Collection), is a joint venture between a number of Institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It consists of five distinct collections: 1) continuous cell lines from vertebrates, 2) continuous cell lines from invertebrates, 3) cultured higher plant cells, 4) continuous cell lines of domestic animals, 5) human somatic cells from patients with hereditary diseases.
