DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split semi-confluent cultures 1:4 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x100,000 cells /cm2 using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin EDTA; 5% CO2; 37C.
Derived from normal subcutaneous connective tissue of an adult C3H strain mouse. The cells were treated with 20 methylcholanthrene and produced sarcomas when injected into C3H strain mice.
