This is the complete description of the cell line that you selected.
By clicking on a generic term (e.g., SPECIES) you will go to the corresponding index (e.g., index of species), while by clicking on a specific term (e.g., retinoblastoma) you will go to the list of corresponding cell lines (e.g., retionoblastoma cell lines).

Ham's F12 + DMEM (1:1) + 2mM Glutamine + 5% Horse Serum (HS) + 2.5% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split confluent cultures 1:20 to 1:200 i.e. seeding at 1x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37C. Cells resuscitated from frozen stock should be split 1:3 at the first passage and thereafter as above.
From primary culture of sertoli cell enriched preparations from normal testes of a 11-13 day old BALB/c nu/+ mice. Cells respond to FSH but not LH; Plasminogen activator secretion is stimulated by FSH and also retinoic acid. Note: only distributed frozen.
