80-90% Dulbecco's MEM + 10-20 % FBS split confluent culture 1:5 every week or 1:10 every two weeks (cells grow slowly) using trypsin/EDTA at 37C with 5% CO2 about 1-2 x 106 cells/80 cm 2; frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 0.5 x 106 cells/ampoule; negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, RNA hybridization assays;
Validated by: isoenzymes (confirmed as mouse with IEF of AST, PEP B)
