PROPERTIES: The cell line differentiates when exposed to retinoic acid (RA) or hexamethylene bisacetamide (HMBA).

- IRCCS Ospedale Policlinico San Martino (ICLC, Genova)
DMEM (4.5 g/L glucose) + 10% FBS + 2mM L-Glutamine; Freezing medium: 90% FBS + 10% DMSO; Split confluent cultures 1:3-1:6 using trypsin/EDTA; seed at 2-5x104 cells/cm2; 37C, 5% CO2. After thawing the cells look very suffering and need some days to recover. Passage: 22, mycoplasma negative, HOECHST and PCR
