This is the complete description of the cell line that you selected.
By clicking on a generic term (e.g., SPECIES) you will go to the corresponding index (e.g., index of species), while by clicking on a specific term (e.g., retinoblastoma) you will go to the list of corresponding cell lines (e.g., retionoblastoma cell lines).
ICLC catalog code: HTL97001
Monoclonal continuous culture, grown as monolayer
SPECIES: human, Caucasian (female, 65 years old)
TUMOR: carcinoma, non small cell
DEPOSITOR: Obtained from ECACC.
Cell line available for distribution. Any commercial use must be negotiated with the University of Texas
PROPERTIES: The best differentiated available bronchial carcinoid cell line. The cells express easily detectable levels of p53 mRNA, and are not able to synthesise gastrin releasing peptide (GRP); neuromedin B peptide synthesis (NMB).
