Continuous culture, grown as suspension
SPECIES: mouse, DBA/2 (female, 8 months old)
TISSUE/ORGAN: ascitic fluid
TUMOR: leukemia, lymphocytic
tumorigenic in syngeneic animals and nude mice
PROPERTIES: chemotherapeutic agents; cytotoxicity

RPMI 1640 + 10% FBS + 2mM L-Glutamine + Hepes buffer + 2-mercaptoethanol; Freezing medium: Culture medium + 20% FBS + 10% DMSO; 37C, 5% CO2, mycoplasma negative
Doubling time 12 h. Seeding concentration 1 x 105 cells/ml; split when 6 x 105 cells/ml. Every 2-3 weeks centrifuge and resuspend in fresh medium. Tumor induced in vivo by methylcholanthrene.
