Abstract: Abstract - A general presentation of the possibilities offered by numerical simulations for the modelization of certain biological systems is given. In this context applications of standard methods of Statistical Mechanics to two particularly interesting biological problems 1) protein folding 2) dynamical and thermodynamical behaviour of lipidic billayers will be discussed.
