90% Iscove's MDM + 10% FBS + 2 mM L-glutamine + 1 mM sodium pyruvate + 8 U/ml mouse IL-4 + 10 U/ml mouse IL-3 maintain at about 0.2-8.0 x 105 cells/ml; split ratio of 1:4 every 2-3 days; viability of cells may drop to about 20% immediately after thawing but recovers after approximately 1 week at 37C with 5% CO2 maximum density at about 1.0 x 106 cells/ml;
doubling time of about 25 hours;
frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 5 x 106 cells/ampoule;
negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, RNA hybridization assays;
