This is the complete description of the cell line that you selected.
By clicking on a generic term (e.g., SPECIES) you will go to the corresponding index (e.g., index of species), while by clicking on a specific term (e.g., retinoblastoma) you will go to the list of corresponding cell lines (e.g., retionoblastoma cell lines).
DSMZ catalog code: ACC 145
Morphology: round cells, single and in small clusters in suspension
Description: mouse myeloma P3/NSI/1-AG4-1 is a non-secreting clone of P3X63AG8 which is derived from P3K, the induced plasmacytoma MOPC-21; cells do not grow in HAT medium, extensively used in cell fusion studies; cells were described to synthesize kappa chain, but do not secrete free light chain confirmed as mouse with IEF of LDH, NP, PEP B
Viruses: ELISA: reverse transcriptase positive
Depositor: Dr. G. Koehler, Max-Planck-Institute, Freiburg, Germany
Available in the following LABORATORY:
