90% RPMI 1640 + 10% FBS maintain at 0.3-0.7 x 106 cells/ml; split 1:2 to 1:8 every 2 days; keep at 20% FBS for the first week, slow growth during first 1-2 weeks; seed out at ca. 1 x 106 cells/ml in a 6-well-plate or 24-well-plate at 37C with 5% CO2 maximal density at 1.0 x 106 cells/ml;
doubling time of ca. 50-60 hours;
frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 5 x 106 cells/ampoule;
negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, PCR assays;
