Description: human T cell leukemia established from the peripheral blood of a 5-year-old girl with T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) at relapse in 1984 (sister cell line MOLT-17, DSM ACC 36) confirmed as human with IEF of AST, MDH, NP, PEP B

doubling time of ca. 30 hours;
frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 5 x 106 cells/ampoule;
negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, RNA hybridization, PCR assays;
