This is the complete description of the cell line that you selected.
By clicking on a generic term (e.g., SPECIES) you will go to the corresponding index (e.g., index of species), while by clicking on a specific term (e.g., retinoblastoma) you will go to the list of corresponding cell lines (e.g., retionoblastoma cell lines).

DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Split semi-confluent cultures seeding at 5x1,000 to 2x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37C.
Sub-line of BUdR resistant strain of the L-M mouse line, which in turn is derived from L929. TK- cells cannot grow in HAT medium. Stable TK- mutants are only obtained if the cells are kept for several passages in growth medium containing BUdR.
