DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Horse Serum (HS). Split confluent cultures 1:3 to 1:5 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 15% CO2; 37C. Cell clumps must be broken up to prevent cells growing in suspension.
This F2 subclone was developed from original AtT-20, an ACTH secreting cell line established from murine pituitary tumour. These cells are readily transfected using a standard calcium phosphate protocol.
