90% Dulbecco's MEM + 10% FBS + 2 mM L-glutamine + 4x MEM non-essential amino acids split confluent culture 1:5 to 1:6 every 4-6 days using trypsin/EDTA at 37 C with 5-10% CO2 cell harvest of about 10 x 106 cells/80 cm 2;
doubling time of about 40-50 hours;
frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO at about 2 x 106 cells/ampoule;
contamination was eliminated with Baytril (enrofloxacin), then negative in DAPI, microbiological culture, RNA hybridization assays;
